I started doing family research for my father in law about 30 years ago. Now that I've smashed that brick wall, thanks to DNA, I'm trying to smash the brick wall on my tree. My father Harold Henry Howell was born illegitimate in 1928 to Golda (Goldia Mae Howell) in Portland, Oregon. His birth certificate states it was a legitimate birth with a father of Manle or Monte Howell who I have never found in the area. With DNA results on Ancestry I am matching with the Boyles line in Portland area. There are three sons listed and it's been narrowed down to two of the three. I feel I have my Howell family accurate on my paternal grandmother line and my mother's side of the family. My goal is to find which of these two Boyles men is my grandfather.
