I believe this was taken in Candor, NY or an area nearby. I connected naturally to my Grandma Lydia growing up. Through my adoption Lydia had the role of Grandma to me , while biologically she was my Great- Grandmother Lydia had a naturally warm friendly personality , always looked forward to her visits .
She was the only close family member that had an interest in keeping family records , an interest which I share with her . She was also one for keeping in touch with family that moved away.
She was quite talented with crafts , and liked to garden.
She and her husband Ed were a funny couple she and Ed would joke around , remember going to her home with my parents Carl and Janice while they played cards.
I miss Lydia , loved her very much
