Doris was born in 1942. She was the daughter of Maxime Houle and Alice Gosselin. She passed away in 1991.
CHICOPEE - Doris I. (Houle) Rivet, 49, of 262 Arcade St., a 20 year dietary assistant at the Sisters of Providence Motherhouse in Holyoke, died Thursday December 19, 1991 at home after a long illness. She was the wife of George G. Rivet.
Born in Chicopee, September 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and Alice (Gosselin) Houle. A lifelong resident of Chicopee, she was a communicant of St. Rose de Lima Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Thomas R. Rivet, at home; three brothers, Roger F. Houle and Richard M. Houle of Chicopee and Norman E. Houle of Spring Hill, Fla.; five sisters, Theresa Perreault, Simone Labonte, Claire Delaney, Mary Chagnon and Marion Houle of Chicope.
