Biography
Emma (Hough) Cockshaw was born in Lincolnshire, England.

Emma married Joseph Cockshaw in Eastrington, Yorkshire, in 1872. Joseph was said to be 54 when really he was 62.[2][3] In 1881 the Cockshaws lived in Kilham, Yorkshire, where Joseph worked as a domestic gardener.[4] He died in 1898 at the age of 88.[5]
