Coral Esther Horn was born on April 11, 1922 in Altoona, Polk, Iowa, United States, daughter of Aaron Horn (1886–1979) and Roxy Hazel McFarling (1891–1951).

In 1940, Coral (18) was in the household of Aaron Horn in Saylor Township, Polk. ^[2]

Coral died on November 23, 1983 in Polk County, Iowa, aged 61.^{[3] [4]} She was buried in Monroe Cemetery, Monroe, Iowa.
