Lodincy Sophrona Horn was born about 1839 in New York, United States, daughter of Gilman Horn (1807–1860) and Polly Colby (1813–1849).

In 1850, Lodency (10) was living in Madison Township, Putnam, Indiana. [1]

Lodency (17) married George Washington James (23) (born on August 23, 1834 in Madison, Indiana; son of John James and Lucretia Croncy (Hunt) James) on December 7, 1857 in Marion County, Iowa, USA.[2] Their children were:

In 1880, Lodency (40) was living in Franklin, Monona, Iowa. [3]

Lodency died on September 5, 1885 in Sloan, Woodbury, Iowa, aged about 45.
