Biography

William Holtom was the husband of Sarah Holtom. Their son was John Holtom.^[1]

In 1858, when restorations were being made on Shakespeare's house in Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, England, William removed a beam from the house. From the beam, two cups and a snuff box were made, which William passed on to his family in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.^[2]

Sarah died in August 1859 at Stratford-on-Avon.^[3]

William died on 17 August 1883, also at Stratford-on-Avon.^[4]
