I was born August 9th, 1955 in Shreveport Louisiana to William Harold Holt and Elise Doris Head Holt. I have two older siblings William Harold Holt Jr and Carolyn Elise Holt Grider. I am named Tracy in honor of my paternal great grandmother Eva Tracy. My full name is Tracy Anne. Anne is in honor of my my paternal grandmother, Clara Anna Smith Holt Teel. My father was born and raised on the Smith farm in Walnut Ridge Lawrence County Arkansas. I believe the farm was about 60 acres. I'm married to Larry and have four adult children and two incredibly 'grand' granddaughter and two great grandsons. I'm a voracious reader, love antiques and learning. I'm also really enjoying WikiTree and want to do all I can to help others in their search. I was so happy to find out that this is such a great community project that is free. I'm of the belief that family records and genealogical information should be shared. I've gotten lots of information that was gathered by my maternal aunt, Olive Head Lankford. I know she put lots of time and effort into her research. This was way before computers.I get so happy when a merge is suggested or someone has advice for me. :) I can't say enough great things about the WikiTree community. Everyone is so helpful!
Also information obtained from Olive Head Lankford' s painstaking family research.

I havent heard back from you about the United Kingdom Project breaking up into the individual country-level projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I hope all is well with you. I assume you dont wish to join any of them at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.
Many thanks for all your contributions,
Susie :-)
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Many thanks,
Susie
The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group.
See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details.
The Teams are :-
Can you let me know if youd like to stay on in the new project and which team(s) youd like to join. Please also let me know your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the projects Google Group or confirm you are already a member of the google group.
Many thanks,
Amy Gilpin Ireland Project Coordinator
Im Susie the new leader of the England Project. We are contacting all existing members of the project to find out how you are currently involved, and how you would like to be involved moving forward. Please have a look at the England Project page for more information, and then contact either myself or Gillian to let us know what youd like to do, or if you have any questions. We can then list your interests, help you join the team in the Google group forum for England, and give you any help you might need to get going. If we dont hear back from you well assume you no longer want to be a part of the England Project at this time.
Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you,
Susie :-)
