I traced my family tree backto Evam A Holt through Evan Holt. I visited the library and gravesite in Ohio. Since I have joined DAR. I was so excited to learn about Evan' service in the Revolutionary War. Several years ago I saw a documentary on Drummer Boys. Wish I could see it again. My father was an only son. However, my brother David had four sons. So the Holt name is being carried on. My brother's middle name is Allen. He choose to give all his sons a middle name that started with an A. His third son Nathan' middle name is Andrew. Nathan named his son Evan Andrew Holt! They were thrilled when I shared this news. Both are interested in joining SAR. I would love to know what Evan A Holt' middle name was. One family tree on Ancestry lists it as Andrew. Are there any Holt's left in Ohio?
