William Holdridge (also spelled Holdred and Holdredge) was born 15 Mar 1647 in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts to William Holdridge and Isabella Hayward [some records report his mother as Isabella Craddock].[1] [2] [3] [4]

He married Lydia Quimby 10 Apr 1674[5] in Amesbury, Massachusetts.[6] They had the following children:[4]

Robert Holdridge, born abt 1676
Gershom Holdridge, born about 1677
William Holdridge, born 1680
Hezekiah Holdridge, born 1681

[NOTE: William did not have a daughter named Lydia Holdridge born about 1760 (i.e. before his marriage); rather, his widow Lydia Quimby Holdridge married again after his death.]

William died in 1691 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut.[4] His widow remarried after his death.

Have you requested that these two profiles Lydia Holdridge-164 and Lydia Quimby Holdridge-17 be merged?

NOTE: William did not have a daughter named Lydia Holdridge born about 1760 (i.e. before his marriage); rather, after his death, his widow Lydia Quimby Holdridge married again (1692-1693) to Israel Dewey. The profile for Lydia Holdridge needs to be removed/or merged with Lydia Quimby Holdridge. I am going to add marriage of Lydia Quimby and Israel Dewey (my 7th great grandparents).
