Biography
Ann Hogg was baptised on 21 May 1826 in Minchinhampton by parents James and Sarah. James was a Spinner. [1]
On 8 June 1851 George Cockle and Ann Hogg married in Amberley, Gloucestershire. George was a Bargeman, his father Thomas was a Carpenter. Ann was a Cloth Worker, her father James was also as Cloth Worker. Sarah Hogg was one of the witnesses. George and Ann both lived in Lower Littleworth. [2]
In 1871 George and Ann were living in Bristol with 7 children. George was a Master mariner. [3]
Ann lived a long life and died aged 84 in 1909. Her death was registered in Bristol. [4]
