Biography
Ewing Hogan was born on 1 December 1853 in Oakland, Marion County, Arkansas, United States, son of Joseph C. Hogan (1817–1863) and Celia Harris (~1822–~1896).[1][2]
Ewing married Sarah Terry on 13 January 1873 in Marion County. Their children were:
- Joseph Hogan (1873-)
- Essie M. Hogan (1879-)
- John C. Hogan (1881-)
- George M. Hogan (1885-1980)[3][4][5]
They had moved with son, George, to Wagoner County, Oklahoma by 1920.[6]
In 1930, he was in Oklahoma.[7]
Ewing died on 26 March 1936 and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Porter, Wagoner County, Oklahoma.[8]
