He graduated from Tuskegee Aviation Cadet School Class - Single Engine Section - SE-43-K - December 3, 1943.
“Little is known about William L. Hill. He served as a fighter pilot in World War II in the 302d FS, where he was credited with one aerial victory , earning three Air Medals and a Purple Heart. After training as a weather officer in 1947, he had at least two overseas tours, one in Taiwan. He retired as a major from Grand Forks AFB in 1964 and died in 1981”[1]
He passed away 27 August 1981.
