William Higgs was born in Cornwall, England.
William was born in 1791 in St Columb Major, Cornwall. William was the son of Jonathan and Catherine[1]
William married Nancy Brewer in 1816[2][3]
In 1851 William was a farmer of 60 acres living in Lanivet with his wife Nancy (Brewer) Higgs (1790-abt.1856) and his sons William Higgs (bef.1819-bef.1887) and Samuel Nicholas Higgs (bef.1822-1885), daughter-in-law Jane Julian (bef.1827-abt.1900) and their children Samuel Nicholas Higgs (bef.1847-1922) Elizabeth Jane Rescorla Higgs (abt.1849-1916) Thomas George Julian Higgs (bef.1850-bef.1851)[4]
William died in 1874 in St Columb Major[5][6]. [7]
