Biography

Winifred (Hewitt) Watson-Lee is an Anzac who served in World War One.

On 9 November 1917 Winifred May Hewitt enlisted as a staff nurse in the Australian Imperial Force. She had worked as a nurse for 3 years in the Homeopathic Hospital.^[2]

Winnifred married James W W Lee in 1920 in Sydney, New South Wales.^[3]

LEE-HEWITT.-On the 2nd October, 1920, at Sydney, James W. Watson-Lee, late A.I.F., to Winnifred Mary, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hewitt, "Taleri," Lantana road, Gardenvale, formerly Essendon.^[4]
