Biography
Alverade was born between 1190-1220. She passed away between 1234-1260. She was the daughter of Jan III van Heusden (ca. 1160–1217), lord of Heusden and Aleida (van Cuijk) . Jan was the son of Arend I van Heusden en Justine (van Heeze-Millen). They had the following children:
- Alverade van Heusden (1190-1235), gehuwd met Dirk I van Teylingen, heer van Brederode
- Arnold II Heer van Heusden en Sluis (1195-1242)
- (Aleida Van Heusden) gehuwd met Herbaren II van der Lede, heer van Arkel
