Elizabeth Jones was born about 1845 in Mississippi, United States, daughter of Reese Jones.

She married Jake Thompson on 8 March 1880 in Lafayette County, Mississippi, United States.^{[1] [2]}

Research Notes

• Elizabeth Thompson is recorded in the 1910 US census as having given birth to 19 children with 8 still living. There are 8 children recorded with her in the 1880 US census. Her son Littleton died before the 1910 census was taken because his wife Sarah Jane is recorded as widowed, so there is a child unaccounted for. Clemmie Thompson (b. ~1886) may be this child, though Elizabeth would have been older than average when she was born (it's possible Elizabeth's birth year is wrong). I can't find a 1900 US census record for either Elizabeth or Clemmie, or a record of Clemmie's parents, but I share DNA with a few of Clemmie's descendants. ^[3]
• A grandson appears with her in the 1910 US Census, but his parents are unknown: Bishop Wadley (abt.1899-).
