Biography
Susannah was born in 1770. She was the daughter of Johann Herb and Elizabeth Hilligass. She passed away in 1812 and is buried in the Saint Andrew's Anglican Church Cemetery, Grimsby, Ontario, Canada
Married in 1789 in Bethel Twp, Berks Co, Pennsylvania, Adam Cline, son of Peter Heinrich Klein Sr & Susannah Grossman. He was born 1762 Bethel Berks County Pennsylvania, USA Death: Oct. 22, 1828 Grimsby Ontario, Canada Adam Cline, who settled in Grimsby in 1792 bought 200 acres of land Lots 21-22 Conc. III from William Neil and Lots 21 and 22, 2nd Conc. from Levis Lewis. The deed signed in the presence of Allan Nixon, Alexander Jackson, and William Kitchen was dated 16 Jun, 1803. Adam Cline began building his stone house back from the road under the escarpment in 1803. The Cline Mountain Road, now closed to traffic, rises to the west of this old homestead.
