Biography

Peter Hepburn may have been born in Abbeymilne, Scotland as per an unsourced ancestry tree.

Peter Hepburn m. Fairfield 13 Mar 1726/7 Sarah Clark. Sarah was admitted to the church 5 May 1728[1]

His will is dated 16 June 1738 at Stratford, CT and proved on 4 January 1742/43 in Fairfield. Named wife Sarah to have one part of the lands, eldest son Joseph to have a double portion more that the other children Peter, George, Sarah. He names a Sarah Navol or Newal (sp?) to have 15 pounds when aged 18...lives with me. He names wife Sarah as sole executrix. Wits Jo and Martha Thompson and Prudence Wells. [2]

The distribution of his estate was recorded on 4 April 1744. Fairfield, CT.[3]
