   Death removed one of Monteagle's oldest and most respected inhabitants early on Tuesday morning, when Catherine, wife of Mr. William Bashham passed away. Deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hennock, of Back Creek, and was married to Mr. Wm. Basham 51 years ago. They went to live at Springfield, Monteagle, where they have lived ever since and reared a family of three sons and three daughters, Mrs. J. Gibson, Monteagle, Mrs. T. Madden, Monteagle, Mrs. Gus. Newman, Yass, and Messrs. J. A. Basham, Stockinbingal, W. H. Basham, Young, and George Basham, Monteagle. Deceased would have celebrated her 69th birthday next month and is the last of the Hennock family. The burial took place yesterday to the Church of England portion of the Young cemetery.
