Biography

This profile is part of the Hendy Name Study.

Flossie was born in 1901. She is the daughter of Andrew Hendy and Lilly Brown. [1]

In 1911 she lived with her parents Andrew and Lily in Staple Hill near Bristol where her father was a Boot Maker. [2]

In 1924 Flossie married Maurice Edgar Dicks in Downend. Maurice was a Flour Miller. Andrew Hendy was one of the witnesses. [3]

Flossie died aged 85 in 1985 [4] and is buried in Wick, South Gloucestershire. [5]
