Biography
Rubenia Hendrix was born on September 25, 1912 in Arkansas to Joseph Hendrix and Floy Hollingshead.[1]
According to the 1920 census, Rubenia lived with her parents and siblings in Stoddard County, Missouri.[1]
Rubenia married Peter Wilkerson around 1929.
Peter died in 1948.
Rubenia and Hugh Young recieved a marriage license on July 24, 1952.[2]
Rubenia died on June 8, 1988 in Kansas City, Kansas.[3]
She is buried in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Missouri.[4]
