Nicholas Hendrickson was born on 26 January 1820 in Connersville, Fayette, Indiana, United States to Cornelius Mershon Hendrickson (1797-1869) and Elizabeth Mary Thomas (1794-1858). ^[1]

Marriage and Family

He married Diana Elizabeth Kelsey (1827-1900) on 8 March 1848 in Quincy, Adams, Illinois. He was 28 and she was 20. ^[2]

1. Frances Anna Hendrickson was born on 11 December 1848 in Quincy, Adams, Illinois, United States. She married Ezekiel Hopkins (1839-1911) on 21 January 1865 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Frances died on 21 December 1925 in Twin Falls, Twin Falls, Idaho, United States.^[3]
2. Elvira Eliza Hendrickson was born on 16 September 1850 in Garden Grove, Decatur, Iowa, United States. She married Robert Gravatt Hopkins (1837-1908) on 2 May 1868 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Elvira died on 15 April 1927 in Tetonia, Teton, Idaho, United States.
3. Jannette Hendrickson was born on 11 January 1854 in the Mosquito Creek area of Pottawattamie County, Iowa, United States. ^[4] She married Edwin Ruthven Miles (1838-1912) on 5 October 1881 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Janet died on 6 May 1923 in Smithfield, Cache, Utah, United States.^[5]
4. Samuel Thomas Hendrickson was born on 30 December 1855 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa, United States. He died on 8 October 1878 in Smithfield, Cache, Utah, United States.
5. George Washington Hendrickson was born on 7 January 1858 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa, United States. He married Elizabeth Owens (1859-1935) on 17 April 1876 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. George died on 13 July 1936 in La Grande, Union, Oregon, United States.
