Clarence Hendrick is a part of US Black heritage.

Clarence was born in 1910 in Virginia. ^[1] He was the son of Mason Hendrick and Nannie Edmonds. He was raised by his parents in Meckleburg County, Virginia.^[2]

Clarence was a veteran of World War II; he served as a Private First Class in the Ordnance Department from 1942 to 1945.^[3]

In 1950 Clarence was living with wife Blanche and her relatives in New York City, New York.^[4]

He was a widower when he passed away in 1970 at a VA Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.. He was buried in the Roanoke Zion Church Cemetery in Bracey, Virginia.^[5]
