Hi Leonard,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Philip D Hendershot b 1822 Canada, the husband of Sarah Buchanan (Buchanan-8847). If you were to create a profile for him, I have a research suggestion which might be helpful in narrowing his birthplace. I'm not related, but have Buchanan as one of my interests (not Sarah). Jan B-McG
I have assumed the role of Vice-Chairman of an organization known as the HendershotResearchers. They have an rudimentary organization deidcated to the preservation and update of informaton on Johann Michael Hennescheid (1674-1749) and divide their efforts into Clans representing his three sons. They do this by updating a book created by a decease genealogist - William Hendershot. It appears to me that they duplicate the work of your organization and their efforts would be better directed towards maintenance of their tree using Wiki Trees. I would like to explore how Wiki Trees can become the umbrella for their efforts.
