Andrea (Heinemann) Simon is Notable.

Born on March 24, 1909 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,^[1] Andrea was the second child of Frederick and Elma Marie "Chibie" Heinemann (whose mother is probably Lauriana Oliete, born Cuba) and raised in Philadelphia. Andrea was an activist in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. She was actively involved in charitable and community work. This included a stint on the board of directors of the Riverdale Mental Health Association for over 30 years. She also served as a director of the Riverdale Chapter of the United Nations Association.^[2]

Andrea married Richard Leo Simon on August 3, 1934 at Manhattan, New York City.^[3] They had four children: former opera mezzo-soprano singer and New York real estate agent, Joanna Simon; Broadway score writer Lucy Simon; singer-songwriter Carly Simon, and Peter Simon.^[4]

Andrea died in New York, USA on February 15, 1994.^[5]
