The 1871 England and Wales Census shows Emma living with her parents and two sisters in Upper Beeding, Sussex, England.^[3] She was four years old.

The 1881 England and Wales Census shows Emma living with her parents and five children in Upper Beeding, Sussex, England.^[4] She was 14 years old and was an unemployed General Servant.

On 13 February 1887 Louise married William Alfred Maynard in Old Shoreham, Shoreham, Sussex, England.^[5]

The 1891 England and Wales Census shows the couple and two children living in John Street, New Shoreham, Sussex, England.^[6] Emma was 24 years old.

The 1901 England and Wales Census shows the couple and four children living in High Street, New Shoreham, Sussex, England.^[7] Emma was 34 years old.

The 1911 England and Wales Census shows the couple and five children living in Hove, Sussex, England.^[8] Emma was 44 years old.

Emma's mother Ann passed away in 1916 in Steyning, Sussex, England. She was 73 years old.
