Biography

John Franklin Heath was born on 1 Mar 1860 in Laurens County, Georgia to parents Mack Heath and Molly Callahan.^[1]

He married Elizabeth A Warnock and they had a daughter, Mary Rebecca Heath (later Pope).

In 1910, he was aged 52, married, and living in ED 159, Temperance, Telfair County, Georgia with his wife Bettiean (53) and three daughters Minnie (16), Emma (14), and Annie May Heath (9).^[2]

John passed away on 26 Nov 1926 in Douglas, Coffee County, Georgia from complications of myocarditis at age 66. He was a widower at the time of his death.^[1]

He was buried in Taylors United Methodist Church Cemetery, Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia.^[3]
