In the 1911 census Phyllis Hay (age 22), Actress, was the single niece of Emma Becher in Hammersmith, London, England, United Kingdom.^[3].^[4]

Phyllis married Alan Seaton Irwin (born in 1890 in Ireland; son of Robert Blainey Irwin) in 1911 in London. Their known son was Ray Leigh.

Phyllis married Raymond Seaton Dane (born about 1890 in South Africa; son of Henry Dane) in 1914^[5]. Their known son was

Research Notes

Phyllis Hay became an actress, known as "lavender leigh". She had Raymond Leslie, her ?? first child in 1912, she left him with ?? a neighbour when he was 6 weeks old and never went back for him. Rays wife, Lilian Leigh tracked her down and visited her in a nursing home, its then that she said she had more children, twin girls and 2 more boys, one died as a baby. She did marry Rays father Raymond Seaton Dane, in 1915 in Liverpool. He went to South Africa after they were married and she went to Ireland. Died in a home for retired actors in Islington, London in 1972

Raymond Seaton Dane WAS NOT Raymond's Father::::::::::or was he??? The fact that he was named Raymond Leslie, one name from supposed Father His birth certificate has a Sidney Leigh (actor) as Raymond's Father States he was born at 55 Myddelton Square, London and has Phyllis down as Leigh, formerly Hay. I cannot find a marriage certificate for them though
