Zeruiah was born on 5 Feb 1755 at Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1] She is the daughter of Benjamin Haven and Ruth (Gleason) Haven. According to Zeruiah's biography at FindAGrave[2], her first husband was Andrew Allard whom she married on 1 May 1775. They had two children before Andrew died of camp fever on 23 Aug 1777 while a soldier in the Continental Army. The couple had at least two children during their short marriage.[3] Zeruiah remarried with Joseph Frail on 25 Nov 1784 at Hopkinton.[4] This couple had at least five children.[5] Zeruiah passed away in 1845 at Hopkinton.[6]

The spelling of Zeruiah's first name is shown on her tombstone as "Zeruviah". However, there are sources with her name spelled Zeruiah, along with other derivations. Sources for her birth have her name spelled Zeruiah; but, there are no images to check if the annotations are correct. However, in looking up the name Zeruiah, there are mentions of the name being of Hebrew origin. There are no entries for Zeruviah.
Zeruviah was born in 1755. She passed away in 1845.
