Verda was a Jehovah's Witness and served at Brooklyn Bethel

Verda was born in 1917.^[1][2][3] Verda was the daughter of John Hauerstein and Lena Widmer.^{[1][4][5][6][7][8]}

Verda volunteered at the world headquarters of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society at Brooklyn, New York.^[9]

In 1958, Verda married Walter Turpin.^[10]

Verda died in 2015.^[11]
