Lt. Col. Ret. David C. Hatfield, USAF, 83, of Midwest City, died Saturday. David was born May 12, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Harold and Alma Hatfield. Lt. Col.
Hatfield served during WWII, Korea and Vietnam; retiring at Tinker Air Force Base after 26 years service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Mae and Kitty; his brother Harold.
David is survived by his wife, Helen Louise (nee Seitz); daughter, Gail Leah Hatfield of Midwest City; son, David Joseph Hatfield of Collingdale, Pennsylvania; 3 grandchildren; sister, Amy Laughran of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.
His family would like to offer a special thanks to the doctors and nurses for their kindness and knowledge displayed during his illness. [1]
