Biography

Juanita (Harvey) Lynch is a part of US Black heritage.

Juanita R. Harvey was born on 10 Sep 1908 in Washington, D.C. She was the daughter of John Harvey and Ella Brown.^[1][2] In 1910, she and her mother, who was still a teenager, were living with her maternal grandmother Martha (Washington) Alexander and her uncle Henry Washington in Washington, D.C.^[3] By 1920, her mother had married George Brooks and the three of them lived in New York City.^[4]

Juanita married Charles Henry Lynch on 14 Feb 1924.^[5] They had seven daughters and four sons. They lived in Manhattan in New York City.^[2][6] Their oldest daughter Florine died in 1932 when she was eight years old.^[7] Juanita's husband Charles died in 1974. She moved to New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York around 1982.^[2]

Juanita died on 3 Dec 1994 in New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York.^[1][2]
