Shakespeare Hart was born in Warwickshire, England.

William (Shakespeare) Hart was the son of Shakespeare Hart, glazier, of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, and his wife Anne Pare. He was baptised on 14 September 1695 at Holy Trinity, Stratford, and entered in the parish register in Latin as "William filius Shakespar Hartt."[1]

He was known as Shakespeare Hart.[1]

He married Mary Southam. Their children were:[1]

  1. William Shakespeare, baptised 8 January 1743 and buried 8 March 1744
  2. Catherine, baptised 10 May 1748

His father died in 1747.[1] Under his will, his father left Shakespeare and his brother Thomas one shilling each. His father gave his seven tenements in Henley Street and the residue of his personal property to their mother Anne.[2]

He was buried on 28 February 1749/50.[1]
