Biography

Wallace Neuman Harrison was born in 1921 in Drake, Saskatchewan. He was the son of Herman Isaac Harrison and Jean McDonald who were born in Nova Scotia. Wallace married Anna Wilhelmina Bell on 1 August 1942 in Grand. He served with the RCAF during World War II. After the war they lived in Calgary where Wally worked as an office clerk in 1953 and later as a director (1974) in the Canada Western Natural Gas Co. He retired as the plant records manager in 1979. Wally and Anna raised two daughters. Wally and Anna retired in Anglemont, British Columbia on Shuswap Lake for eighteen years. In 1988 they moved to a condo in Salmon Arm. Wally liked to sing, play his drums and garden. Wally passed away on 14 September 2007 in Saanich, British Columbia. He was buried in Mount Ida Cemetery, Salmon Arm, British Columbia.
