Frank Harris, born 1890, had no birth record. He is the adopted son of Alice (nee Osborne) and John Harris of Palmerston North - he is listed as one of the sons of John when John dies in 1910 in the paper and then as the ’stepson’ of Alice when she dies in 1916. His death notice in Papers Past[1] says he was adopted. He is the one who marries Chrissy Barber and dies in the UK. He was a gunner in the Australian Forces.
