Brinley George Harries was born in 1897. He is the son of Benjamin Harries and Margaret (Jones) Harries.
In the England and Wales Census of 1901 he was age 4, living in Ystrad-dyfodwg, Glamorgan, Wales with his father Benjamin (age 47), a Carpenter, mother Margaret (age 45), brother William H. (age 23), brother John B. (age 20), sister Rose M. (age 17), brother Ernest H. (age 10), and brother Clifford S. (age 4).
In the England and Wales Census of 1911 he is age 14, an Errand Boy, living in Rhondda, Glamorgan, Wales, with his father Benjamin (age 57), a Colliery Carpenter Above Ground, mother Margaret (age 56), brother John (age 29), sister Gertrude (age 22), and boarders Alfred White and Walter Hearn.
He was a WW1 veteran and was serving in the Cheshire Regiment in 1916.
In 1920 he married Margaret Ann James in Pontypridd, Glamorgan, Wales.
He passed away in 1963 in Australia.
