Mary or Meri was born in 1846 to William Harpur and Mary / Meri Pakanui.

She married John Wixon[1] and had the following children:

  1. Mary Harpur, married name Calder[2]. Mar 7 1862 - Aug 7 1922.
  2. Edith, married name Miller[3], April 1 1865 - Jul 20 1955.
  3. Annie Josephine, married name Spencer[4], Nov 14 1863.
  4. Caroline, May 28 1865 - Jun 18 1946.. Married names Hardie[5] / Wybrow[6], / Foster[7].

On Oct 24th 1868 she married Peter Rowe Vincent in the Maori Chapel, Waitaki, New Zealand. They had the following children:

  1. William Henry, 1869 - Dec 19 1951. Married Kate McFarlane in 1892[8]. Married Catherine Janet McIntosh in 1907[9].
  2. Peter, Apr 17 1870 - Sep 7 1948. Married Louisa Vesey.
  3. John, Apr 6 1877 - Sep 19 1877.
  4. Eveline, Oct 11 1878 - Dec 18 1923. Married Arthur Albert Gibbs[10],
  5. Sarah, Jun 8 1880 - Sep 1 1962. Married Ambrose Jesse Sands[11].

  7. Elizabeth Jane, Sep 16 1884 - Dec 19 1943. Married John Francis Spencer[13] then Harold Matthew Sullivan[14].
