In the Name of God Amen I Mary Harding of the Parish of Christ Church, London widow being sick and weake in body but of good and sound mind and memory praised to God, I do make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in writeing as followeth viz ffirst commend my Soul to God hopeing by the merits of his blessed sonne Christ Jesus to be saved And my body I comitt to the Earth to be decently interred according to the discretion of my Executors And for my estate I dispose thereof as followeth.

Impress I give to my sonne in Law Mr. Thomas Waddington and to my Daughter Mary his wife Tenn pounds for mourning And I give to my late husband's Brother George Harding five pounds in money And to my Goddaughter Mary Griffith five pounds in money And of this my Will I make and ordaine my trusty friends Leonard Lexton of Doctors Commons Esq. and ffrances Griffith of Newgate Gate Street Esq. full and sole Executors desiring them to dispose of the residue of my estate to the separate use of my Daughter the said Mary Waddington and her Children without any intermeddling of her husband or any other that she may have. And if any attempt shall be made by him or any person or persons deriving or claiming by from or under him to subject any of my estate for his use or any Debt or duty of his I give and bequeath my estate and every parte thereof to desire my Executors and the survivor of them of them to dispose thereof to and for the benefit of the children of my said Daughter at such time and times in such manner and by such proportons as my said Executors and the survivor of them shall think fitt And I do authorize my said Executors out of my Estate to satisfy and reimburse themselves all charges and expenses incident to my Will and tho say I hereby in them … or that thereby shall be whitnesse whereof I have to this my Lasts Will and Testament sett my hand and seale Dated the thirteenth day of March Anno Dom one thousand six hundred eighty five anno MRs MRs Jacobi secundi secundo. The mark of the said Mary Harding had openly signed sealed and published by the Testator as and for her Last Will and Testament on the day of the date aforesaid in the presence of us John Harding, Robert Wilkinson, Sarah May.
