Biography

Henry was born in 1753. He was the son of George Hardin and Jane Bunbury.

Henry married Delilah (Allensworth) Hardin on 14 Oct 1782. They have 7 children: William, Polly, James, Catherine, John, Phillip ?, and Mary Ann.

~Possible son? John Harding b. 16 Jan 1794; died 11 Sept. 1871. He married Jane Cloud. Description: Revolutionary War 1775: Served under Captain Peter Rogers and Colonel Lewis in Virginia in & was engaged with Indians. 1776: Served six months under Captain Moore 1780: Served eighteen months as a private in Captain Holdam's company, Colonel Campbell's Virginia Regiment and was in the battles of Camden, Guilford and the last battle of the war at Eutaw Springs in 1781."
