I'm a psychology professor.


Why I am on WikiTree

I have found that other genealogy websites are riddled with errors, so much so that even when I find a connection with the work of someone else, I can't trust it. Even when dozens of other trees have the same info, it is often just that they all copied the same erroneous info. I am also tempted to throw down a lot of information, but I am more interested in having accurate and well-documented sources. I love the WikiWay of doing things and think this is a great idea! It is my goal to spend my time focusing on creating excellent profiles for my ancestors with an emphasis on sourcing and accuracy. I plan to research my direct ancestor's siblings and their descendants. I hope that as I flesh out my pedigree I will find descendants of my ancestor's siblings (ok, cousins) that are also working on our shared heritage.

Mitch, thanks for the message and interest. Did you know about the New_Netherland_Settlers project ? Although I am not sure if they embrace the Palatinates but they must ? If not, that is a good sub-project. There is the Huguenots project and ask Jillian what she would know if umbrellas the Palintinates as well . http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Huguenot_Migration
