In 1893 Alfred Emil Haraldsson came as a farm hand to Åhagen in Landeryd.[3] The next year, in November 1894, he went to Hedaborg in Vreta Kloster to work for his tailor brother Ture Fritiof.[4] He stayed until 1902, when he moved to Kristberg parish.[5]
Alfred Emil Haraldsson came to Högby Vestergård in Kristberg at the same time as his youngest brother Carl Filip Haraldsson. It looks like he may have helped Carl Filip set up as a tailor. (Alfred Emil is listed as skrädderiarbetare while Carl Filip and Ture Fritiof are skräddare).[6] However, Alfred Emil went back to his parents in Ljung in 1903.[7] He married Augusta Charlotta Eriksson 20 June 1905.[8]
They went to live in Södra Malfors (today Ljungsbro). Alfred Emil is listed as a factory worker and they lived in housing provided by the chocolate factory (owned by Cloetta).[9] They had two children.[10]
Alfred Emil's parents also came to live in Södra Malfors in their final years. The family bought a house of their own, named Charlottenborg.[11]
Alfred Emil Haraldsson died from a stomach ulcer 18 June 1947.[12]
