Nathaniel Haraden, the son of John and Martha Haraden, was born March 12, 1728 in Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts.[1]
Mrs. Mary Kimball of Ipswich and Nathaniel Hazzardine (Haraden) of Gloucester, announced their intention to marry on Oct. 13, 1762 in Ipswich.[2] From this union we find the following children:
Mary, the daughter Nathaniel and Mary, Oct. 3, 1763 in Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts.[3]
Nathaniel, the son of Nathaniel and Mary, Oct. 13, 1764 in Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts.[4]
John, the son of Nathaniel and Mary, June 29, 1766 in Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts.[5]
Nathaniel was born to Nathaniel and Mary, and was baptized on March 12, 1768 at the Third Parish at Annisquam village, Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts.[6]
Nathaniel Haraden and Elisabeth Warner, of Newburyport, announced intent to marry Feb. 8, 1772 in Gloucester.[7] Contemporaneously the records show that Elisabeth, a widow and Nathaniel Harriden of Gloucester, announced their intent to marry in Newburyport on Feb. 7, 1772.[8] From this union we find the following children:
Jonathan Haradan was born on 5 Feb 1775 in Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts to Nathaniel and Elizabeth Haradan.[9]
Philemon Warner Harridan was born 18 Apr 1773 in Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts to Nathaniel & Elisabeth Harridan[10]
Nathaniel is a Patriot of the American Revolution. He provided both Civil & Patriotic Service. In Gloucester, he served as the monitor of the town meeting in 1776 that unanimously voted to support the new American government. He served as hog reeve in 1778, a warden in 1781, and served on the committee to carry out the resolves of the Massachusetts Convention in 1779.[11][12]

Voted to dermine the votes by the voters walking. 125 walked from the East side of the House to the west side by which they Voted in the affirmative, that if the HonbleCongress for the safety of these colonies declare them Independant of the Kingdom of Great Britain, they do solemnly engage with their lives & fortunes to support them in the measure.
Those that were contrary minded was desired to walk to the Eastward, but there was none that did.
Voted that a Copy of the above Vote be given to the representatives as directions from their constituants
Nathaniel Haradan died before 4 September 1787, the date of his probate case 12321. [13]
