Private Bronson Berringer Hanslow enlisted into the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) on the 15th of March 1915 but some records suggest this date may have actually been the 10th of March 1915. His Next of kin was listed as his father, Florance George Chippendale Hanslow of 73 Avenue Road, Mosman, Sydney, New South Wales. Private Hanslow was assigned to the 19th Battalion, D Company and this unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT Ceramic on 25 June 1915. Private Hanslow went on to serve with the 1st Machine Gun Battalion and returned to Australia 21st of March 1919.Even though his Military records suggest his full name was Bronson Berringer Chippendale Bulfin HANSLOW his actual given name was Bronson Berringer Hanslow.
