Biography
John's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1838 in Tynemouth, Northumberland, England.[1] He was the son of Christopher Hann and Barbara Hann.
In the 1841 census John (age 2) was in Long Row, Wallsend, Northumberland, England with his parents and siblings.[2]
In the 1851 census John (age 13), Scholar, was the nephew of William Hann (1806-) in County Durham, England.[3]
