Clarence Hankerson is a part of US Black heritage.

Clarence Hankerson was born in 1927. He was the son of Ethel Murray and James Hankerson.^[1]

Clarence served in the U.S. Army during World War II and Korea.^[2]

Clarence married Rebecca Thomas in Seminole County, Florida in 1948.^[3]

In 1952, Clarence married Olymphia Beatrice Gooden; they were married for 49 years until his death in 2001. They raised 3 children in Illinois and Maryland before returning to St Augustine, Florida.^[4]

He died in 2001^[1] and is buried in Armstrong Cemetery in Elkton, Florida.^[5]
