Biography
Walter Scott Hancock was born in Franklin County, Virginia on November 19, 1869. He was the son of Abram Hancock and Martha Walker.
Walter married Anna Spencer in St. Louis, Missouri on November 21, 1899.
Walter served in the 2nd battalion of the 6th Missouri Volunteers during the Spanish American War, with the rank of Lieutenant.
Walter died in St. Louis on September 22, 1959, and was buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis City.[1]
