Henry Hamilton is a part of US Black heritage.

Henry Hamilton was a Texan.

Henry was born about 1851 in Texas. He was the son of Louis and Lucy Hamilton. His father had been born in Atlanta, Georgia.

Henry married Lucie Ann Williams in Kerr County, Texas in 1877.^[1]

In 1880 Henry was living with wife Lucy, a daughter, and his mother-in-law Mahala Williams in Kerr County, Texas.^[2]

In 1900 Henry and Lucy were living in Kerr County with a daughter and son-in-law, two grandchildren, and Henry's mother Lucy Herse.^[3]

In 1910 Henry and Lucy were living in Kerr County; his mother Lucy was still in the household.^[4]

In 1920 Henry and Lucy and Henry's mother (now age 98!) were living one county over in Comfort, Kendall County, Texas.^[5]

He passed away in 1932 at the age of 80 in San Antonio, Texas. According to his death certificate he was buried in St. Hedwig, Texas.^[6]
