Sarah was born in 1758. She was the daughter of James Hamer (1725-?) and Martha Kendall (1719-1811), from Ancestry sources and Rootsweb.
Sarah married Capt. David Schrack, a Rev. War veteran, in 1784. The Rev. Henry Melchior Muhlenberg officiated. David's grandfather had been instrumental in bringing him to America as a Lutheran pastor. They were the parents of two children; Martha Schrack and John Schrack.
She passed away in 1814.
