Biography

Jacques was born in 1722 in Normandie, France. ^[1]

We find him attending the wedding of Pierre Fontigny and Marie Josephe Gautie in Repentigny on the 16 Oct 1747.

On the 14th of Oct 1748 we also find him attending the wedding of Louis Charlin and Marguerite Montabert at L’Assomption. So we know he was in the country by 1747, not 1749 as FichierOrigine suggests.

He married 13 Jan 1749 in L'Assomption to Marie Barbe Sullière, the daughter of Jean Sullière and Marie Louise Lesage. ^[2]

He passed away in 1760 at L’Assomption, Nouvelle France. ^{[3] [4]}
